Fiona Kelly holds a Law Society of Ireland Diploma in Family Law.

LEGAL AID IN FAMILY LAW - PRIVATE PRACTITIONERS SCHEME

We are on the panel of solicitors for the Legal Aid Practitioner Scheme, enabling us to provide services to persons who have been granted a Legal Aid Certificate from the Legal Aid Board in the following Family Law matters:

  • Maintenance (other than enforcement through the District Court Clerk
  • Custody/Access 
  • Guardianship 
  • Domestic Violence 

It is essential that a person seeking Legal Aid in Family Law matters is assessed by a Law Centre before being referred to a Private Practitioner.

The Civil Legal Aid Act 1995 provides that financial eligibility will be determined by reference to a person's disposable income and, where appropriate disposable capital.
